kaio swim was founded in March 2019 by two female entrepreneurs, Joanna and Chollada, who shared the same vision of creating a sustainable swimwear collection for women. The company is located in Schaffhausen, where the idea originated. Both have a particular relationship to water - as a space of inspiration, relaxation and exploration.

Women empowerment is at the heart of kaio swim’s philosophy, celebrating womanhood at every stage of life. Each design is inspired by the feminine strength and seeks to break the stereotype of today’s women swimwear. kaio swim wants to be a voice underlying that any woman can feel beautiful and elegant in her own unique way.

kaio swim is 100% committed to slow fashion and ethical production. The swimwear pieces are made from carefully selected fabrics (mostly regenerated nylon from recycled plastic wastes), designed for a timeless touch and practical without compromising style, quality and fit.
